DLD 125: The Polaris Expedition

December 8, 2016

Dot

  • The new Polaris lounge is now open at Chicago’s O’Hare airport. And Seth flew the product last weekend from Beijing to Newark. The bears are cute but there’s a lot more to the product than that.

Lines

  • Norwegian wants to launch service on its 737s from the New York and Boston areas to Europe. That’s going to be interesting. (And we’ve since learned where the US hubs are expected to be).
  • Cuba is already seeing some cuts from American Airlines; the traffic simply isn’t as strong as someone theoretically expected it to be.

Destination

  • Taiwan offers up some great opportunities to explore. Seth got to explore with Tim from Points to be Made and the two of them recorded a short bit while getting a foot massage. Yeah, that’s weird, but also some good ideas about what to do when you’re in Taipei for a day.
