Are the “Big 4” US airlines colluding to keep fares high? Or is it just happening that way naturally? The US Department of Justice is looking into that situation, and the evidence seems quite vague so far. But it has led to more lawsuits and plenty of speculation.
Also in this week’s discussion:
- Talking transcons after United has left the JFK market, including JetBlue adding frequencies and Delta is adding widebody aircraft. The “Transcon Wars” are far from over.
- SkyWest CRJs are flying lower and faster after a series of incidents which have not really been reported on. What’s up with that??
- Seth went to a beach in Cuba which was far from the luxury oft advertised. What did he do wrong?
- United might have some labor issues coming up. Because today ends in a “y” and that’s the way they roll.
