Capacity collusion, CRJ Coffin Corner and Cuba’s Challenges. Lots of strange stories in this week’s show.

Nuts drive a diversion, United bails on JFK, JetBlue adds Mint to Boston and Seth talks a bit about flying on Cubana.
Old planes sent to the graveyard and a few new apps/websites we wish were similarly fated. Plus a look at the new pseudo-award chart for SkyMiles.
The DoT backtracks on its rules, Wyndham flattens its award chart and American Airlines has a new type in its fleet. And, if you’re special enough to the airline you might gain access to a special Twitter account. Enjoy the show!
A bit of a rough week with a few emergency landings and some earnings calls which were tremendously positive, but also very cautious on the outlook. What’s on the horizon??
An old cuprit has learned new dirty tricks, Korean Air First Class thoughts from a special guest, finding a bed might be harder than it seems and Cactus is no more. Welcome to DLD Episode 79!
Somehow a conversation about a cruise to Antarctica gets derailed by the politics of Argentina and the Falkland Islands. Because we’re awesome like that. Hacked loyalty accounts, award sales and Haneda are also on the show. Enjoy!

Another mistake fare in the news this week, this time on American Airlines in business class to China. Delta is changing Medallion qualification rules slightly for the better and United gave its lounge food offerings a bump up. Also, Ryanair may actually fly TATL, or it might not.
The DoT stops being quite so consumer-friendly while Bombardier has the first flight of a plane it claims is much more passenger-friendly. SPG & Uber team up and LaGuardia might go long(ish)-haul. Plus some thoughts on taking a bump.
