The dome features intricate architectural details, including decorative moldings, relief sculptures, and stained glass windows. The ceiling is divided into sections by ribs that radiate from a central circular skylight, which allows natural light to illuminate the space. The sections between the ribs are adorned with detailed frescoes or paintings depicting various scenes, possibly of religious or mythological significance.
